This qualification has been developed for those already working, or preparing to work, in the industry and who have been identified in the company’s first aid risk assessment as being required to provide first aid in the workplace. How long will it take? Delivery would typically be through a 3-day training course (24 hours). Course Overview Over a 3 day period, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more. Class size maximum 20 Learners (1 Trainer) Manikins 1 manikin required per 3 Learners Certificate validity The Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid is valid for a period of three years.
